Ingredients
- 1 pound American ground lamb
- 2 tablespoons lemongrass finely chopped
- 1 shallot
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger finely chopped
- 1-2 jalapeño peppers finely chopped
- 2 scallions sliced thin
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt kosher
- 1/4 teaspoon five-spice Asian powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Recipe Notes
Place all meatball ingredients in a medium bowl. With wet hands, mix all ingredients well. Form 16 balls.
Heat 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs, being careful not to overcrowd, lightly browning all sides. Once brown, turn heat down to low and continue cooking until medium. (10-15 minutes)
